Flut and Wuzz live here!

RECAP: So here is the first SPLIT. Split will do all the heavy lifting and Flut will handle the fluff. Tricolonization is the way the World will go starting in 2012.
NEW WEEK:
What kind of fish are they going to rangel, she asked?
I’ll leave that up to the experts. I imagine that will mostly depend on the location of the cities. It’s not like we can adjust the temperature of the water or do much feeding of the fish. We’ll have to make sure we do it right or it could be a problem instead of a solution. I just know it needs to be done or the fish will end up being just like the buffalo in our wild west; almost extinct.
That would be more than a tragedy because so many people depend on them to survive. Are you going to have any fresh water fish on your islands, she asked?
Funny question, but yes. Because the walls will be mostly clear plastic, we can double wall them and make aquariums containing fresh water fish or salt water fish. They make the place look great and provide additional food if done right, I added.
Aren’t you afraid that the people will start developing gills after a few generations, Sopharina said pulling my leg as usual?
Only in the comic books, I said as we ended the evenings conversation to watch some TV.

Just to change the subject I told her there are 87 Hotels on Maui so we don’t really have to make reservations.
That caught her by surprise. So we are really going there. Well, guess what? My sister has a condo there so we don’t even have to worry about a place to stay.
And now who was surprised.
We’ll only be there for a day or two. I want to get out to the site of that giant trash area to see if it is real, I told her knowing she would want to stay longer.
Maybe you could go see the garbage and leave me there, she suggested.
That would be alright. Find out from your sister about some places for you to visit, I suggested.
Can we bring Wuzz along to keep me company?
Flut would insist.
Good! Is Mandi going with us?
I don’t know. She’ll be here tomorrow so you can ask her. I think she might consider staying but she’ll probably want to go see the sea dump with us, I surmised without knowing for sure.
Do you think she will like your Eastern Cowboy story?
She’ll get on board. She has a very active imagination. It wouldn’t surprise me if she didn’t want to plug some of her Dragon buddies into the script. After all, China is a big believer in Dragons.
The next day Mandi arrived and we all got together for an editing session.
Judy did a great job of showing them all the places we went to on this last excursion. She said that she wanted to do a love story as they went further into this process. Everyone agreed that we needed something like that.
I told them about our Eastern Cowboy scenario and Mandi really liked that. I promised her that Dragons would play a big part in the script. She offered to write an episode using her underwater vehicle to catch poachers. That sounded like a good way to get started.
She agreed to come along with us to the big garbage dump in the Ocean. That meant that we would have a large group going to Hawaii first. She didn’t want to stay there and play. Apparently, she had spent a lot of time there already and she was more interested in finding a solution to this recycling problem.
It was good to see Apo again. He was doing research on UN rules for our new cities to make sure we could get through all their paperwork as we grew. It wasn’t like him to do that. He mostly liked guarding us against bad guys but I guess he thought he was doing that with these regulations that they try to impose on everyone.
I told them about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. I pointed out that this was another political lie put out by the environmental terrorists. There are very exaggerated reports of what it is and what should be done about it. I told them we would have to do our own research because of this situation.
Mandi confirmed that the UN was on board with this scenario seeing it as an issue like the global warming debate.
I saw it as just another way to pick the pockets of the developed nations by the UN.
I told them we might do something about this but it might be best to stay out of the fray because they would try to make us scapegoats to point out how bad capitalism is for the World.
How can you do this from the air, Judy asked?
I doubt it can be done. They already have ships out there trying to just find out how large it is. Apparently, it is very small pieces of mostly plastic that are being ingested by sea life that make it so dangerous for the food chain.
Can this just be gathered up to solve the problem, Rod asked?
I have a feeling that this is a monstrous job. If a profit could be made it would be worth doing just from a practical point of view. But if it is just a cleanup job it might never be possible considering where all this junk is coming from. Even that is debatable, I pointed out to the group.
How about an Eastern Cowboy story that saves this part of the planet, Sopharina suggested getting us to the storyboard subject that we were going to have to cover at this meeting along with our trip plans?

Pacific Garbage Patch
I want to break that out separately from the “Birth of Libertas” journal. The style will have to be very different from what we all use as a guide. I’m only going to put about an hour a day into the project and I’ll keep you abreast of the script.
Judy wants to do a love story so we’ll monitor that too. I think we should make up teams for these scripts. Does that sound good to everyone, I asked wanting some feedback from the group?
I want to work with you on the Eastern Cowboy story, Rod chimed in with to make sure he didn’t get involved with Judy’s soap.
I want to work with Judy, said both Sopharina and Wuzz.
Mandi wanted to supply the dragons for both stories. Apo and Flut wanted to work on the Eastern Cowboy story.
We all agreed to have a working start up to discuss by the time we finished our trip to Hawaii and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
I gave Flut and Mandi the possible location of the Patch. It was agreed that we would all go our separate ways through the Patch and then get together and match our impressions of the situation.
We spent the rest of the meeting looking at some of the shots that both Mandi and Judy had taken on our other trips. We were starting to have more film than we could easily handle.

That evening after everyone had left, I started the Eastern Cowboy script. It was a totally different experience. I was detailing actions that didn’t have a real technology basis. It was good for my imagination but I prefer having a more practical view to the future.
I told Judy that I had a plan for her writing experience if she needed help. It would be fun while we were flying around together. I would revive an old book I wrote with a special friend. We used my personal life and her’s to create a joint dating story. I didn’t have any interest in trying to date Judy, but it would give us something interesting to do while flying over all that water.
Sopharina was very excited about going to Hawaii. She asked if there was any possibility of finding an atoll in the Hawaiian chain of islands.
I told her we wouldn’t have the independence we needed politically but we could probably find one fairly close so she could visit often.
Arnold was the only one that didn’t have any opinion about our mission. His quite nature was something I knew was in the past. These young trainees were full of energy that takes the place of contemplation when making plans. I hoped it would be possible to strike a balance now that we had so many people involved.
Arnold had everything ready for us the next day. We took off without a hitch. Judy agreed to be part of the “Blue Guppy” story. She said she would use it as a learning experience but she had some ideas that she wanted to do on her own. That was the type of response I wanted from her.

Sea Trees
Once we got up in the air she noticed I was in pain. I told her it was nerve damage from getting the shingles. I had to explain to her that it was something negative that was just motivating me to get more involved with biological programming. I assured her that it would just go away in time and pointed out to her some of the ways to deal with it without side effects. The biggest problem I was having was not having control of my own food preparation. Restaurants often have great tasting food but it is very hard for me to get what I know I really needed.
I told her about my “Pain Stew.”
She just laughed.
It must be nice to be so young and carefree, I couldn’t help from thinking. Maybe my medical center will bring some of that back to me. I sure considered it top priority. It would make everything else I’m doing worth doing.
How simple life can get, I said silently to myself while turning on the Internet to see what was happening.
Judy wanted to know more about the “Blue Guppy.”
I told her to check out a copy of it. I sent it to her e-mail address. This should keep her busy for a little while and that way I could concentrate on my research.
Arnold always got interested in the new stuff too. He couldn’t wait to be upgraded. I promised him he would always be the latest and greatest Graphene Giant in the World.
